Kristen Murphy

Kristen Murphy is Professor and Chair of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, with research centered on chemical education. Her work investigates scale literacy development, assessment equity through differential item functioning analysis, and factors influencing STEM persistence, leveraging methodologies from cognitive science and psychometrics.

Education includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
