Kristel Beyens is a Professor of Criminology at the Free University of Brussels, affiliated with the Brussels Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Migration and Minorities. Her work focuses on punishment, penal decision-making, prisons, electronic monitoring, and technology’s role in criminal justice.
