Krista Lynette Tookhan

Krista Lynette Tookhan, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She joined the faculty in 2023 after working as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where she also served as Site Director for the Family Medicine Residency Inpatient Pediatrics rotation.

Her research and professional interests include clinical education, medical education, and advancing health equity in pediatric care. Dr. Tookhan brings extensive experience in hospitalist medicine and residency program leadership to her academic role.
