Elham Afshar is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, affiliated with the School of Medicine and Department of Internal Medicine. She serves as a Physician Advisor and Director of the Academic Hospitalist Services at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and Baltimore VA Hospital.
