Krista Kennedy is an Associate Professor of Writing & Rhetoric and Director of Graduate Studies for the Composition & Cultural Rhetorics doctoral program at Syracuse University. She serves as core faculty in the Autonomous Systems Policy Institute and held an NEH Distinguished Visiting Professorship at Colgate University (2020-21). Her research examines intersections of disability, technology, and ethics in AI-driven medical devices, with a focus on hearing aids and data surveillance. Kennedy's work bridges rhetorical theory, materialist studies, and disability advocacy.
