Krista Bittenbender Royal is a senior faculty member at the University of South Florida's English Language Program, where she teaches English for International Students and coordinates special programs including English for Academic Purposes, SPEAK testing, and international teacher training initiatives. She previously taught German and ESOL in Florida public schools and holds an MA in Applied Linguistics/TESL from the University of South Florida (2005–2007).
Her research explores innovative approaches in TESL, emphasizing:
