Soo Hyon Kim

Soo Hyon Kim is an Associate Professor in the English department at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), where she has been since 2013. Her research focuses on second language acquisition (SLA), second language (L2) writing, ESL/EFL teacher education, and research methodology. Current projects explore L2 writers’ metacognitive knowledge and its relationship with writing performance, proficiency, and development, alongside collaborative work on graduate writing support.
