Krissi Alari

Krissi Alari is a Researcher in the Department of Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley. She holds an M.A. in Statistics (2022) from UC Berkeley, a B.S. in Mathematics with a Statistics minor (2021) from California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB), and an A.S. in Mathematics (2019) from Chabot College. Her research focuses on Bayesian statistics, statistical methodology, and data visualization.

Her work includes developing a Bayesian framework for Bland-Altman analysis and creating an R Shiny applet for statistical guidance. She has received awards such as the Outstanding Graduating Senior (CSUMB, 2021), Mathematics Service Learning Award (CSUMB, 2021), and the Betty Scott Excellence Scholarship (UC Berkeley, 2021).

Professionally, she has served as a Data Science Consultant at UC Berkeley’s D-Lab, an Undergraduate Researcher at CSUMB, and a Statistics Consultant for the Bureau of Land Management. Her research emphasizes applications in agriculture, environmental studies, and medical statistics.
