Krishnan Suresh

Prof. Krishnan Suresh is a Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, affiliated with the College of Engineering. He directs the Engineering Representations and Simulation Laboratory (ERSL) and co-leads the Wisconsin Applied Computing Center. His research focuses on topology optimization, additive manufacturing, computational mechanics, and quantum computing applications. He holds prestigious awards including the Vilas Associate (2023), Mead Witter Professorship (2022), and Woodburn Teaching Award (2018).
