Kris Pardo is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Southern California's Dornsife College. He holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysical Sciences from Princeton University (2019) and completed postdoctoral training at Caltech and JPL. His research focuses on using astrophysical data to study gravitational waves and dark matter theories.
Research explores fundamental physics through cosmological observations, including gravitational wave detection methods, dark matter properties, and tests of alternative gravity theories. Key investigations include photometric gravitational wave detection, dark matter constraints, and supermassive black hole binary modeling.
Teaching includes ASTR 100: The Universe. Research employs theoretical modeling and data analysis from astronomical surveys to probe fundamental physics.
