معرفی
Jeremy Sakstein is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. His research focuses on the interplay between gravitation, cosmology, and astrophysics, with a particular emphasis on dark energy, modified gravity theories, and astrophysical tests of fundamental physics. He has held academic roles including Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania and the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, and has contributed to projects like the Novel Probes initiative, aiming to maximize scientific potential from cosmological surveys.
Education: Ph.D. in Physics (2014, University of Portsmouth), M.Math (2010, University of Oxford), M.Physics (2009, University of Cambridge).
Research Interests: Dark Energy dynamics, gravitational wave astronomy, black hole physics, the Hubble constant tension, and multi-messenger cosmology. His work includes probing modified gravity via astrophysical objects, testing gravity in extreme environments, and exploring particle physics connections like baryogenesis.
Publications span cosmological models, neutron star dynamics, gravitational wave constraints, and dark matter interactions, with a focus on observational tensions and theoretical frameworks.
