Kostas Vlachos

Kostas Vlachos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina, Greece. His research focuses on robotic control systems, microrobotics, haptic mechanisms, and medical robotic simulators. He holds a PhD in Automatic Control and Robotics from the National Technical University of Athens (2004), an M.S. from the same institution (2000), and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Dresden (1993). Prior to his current role, he served as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Thessaly's Mechanical Engineering Department (2007-2013).
