Konstantinos Androutsopoulos

Konstantinos Androutsopoulos serves as Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management and Transportation in the Department of Management Science and Technology at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), where he also leads the Transportation Systems and Logistics Unit within the Management Science Laboratory.

His academic credentials include:

• Ph.D. in Management Science from Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece

His research centers on applying Management Science and Operational Research methodologies to optimize Logistics and Transportation Systems, with specific expertise in Supply Chain Management and Intelligent Transportation Systems. This interdisciplinary work bridges quantitative analysis with real-world transportation network challenges.

As principal investigator for European Commission and Greek Government-funded R&D projects, he has advanced research in Transportation, Logistics, and Intelligent Transportation Systems through significant grant acquisitions.

The Transportation Systems and Logistics Unit under his leadership conducts applied research in transportation optimization, fostering industry-academia collaboration within AUEB's Management Science Laboratory framework.
