Konstantin Schenkel

Konstantin Schenkel is a Senior Lecturer at the Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences, serving as Head of the Applied Psychology study program and Vice Rector for Teaching. He has also held positions at the University of Zurich, where he worked as a Senior Assistant and Postdoc in the Institute of Psychology’s Applied Social and Health Psychology unit.

His research focuses on health behavior dynamics, particularly the interplay between digital technologies, physical activity, media consumption, and stress-related health outcomes. He specializes in theory-driven interventions and intraindividual behavioral change processes.

Konstantin has received the University Teaching Center Certificate (2020) from the University of Zurich and has taught seminars on health psychology, social relationships, and ambulatory assessment since 2017. He is a member of the German Society for Psychology (DGPs), European Health Psychology Society (EHPS), and International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP).
