Konstantin Chikov is a veteran academic and engineer at ITMO University, currently serving as Associate Professor and Senior Research Associate at the School of Computer Technologies and Control. With a career beginning in 1964, he has contributed significantly to flight instrument systems and engineering education.

Research Interests:
Chikov's research is centered on the development of flight instrument systems, avionics, and control technologies. Over the past 25 years, he has led innovations in this domain, contributing to both theoretical and applied advancements. His work bridges computer technologies and control systems, with a strong emphasis on real-world aerospace applications.
He has authored 120 scientific works, including 17 invention certificates and 3 patents, and co-authored 3 monographs and 9 educational and methodological works. His long-standing teaching career since 1965 reflects his dedication to engineering education and mentorship.
