Koen Lemmink is a Professor and Head of the Department of Human Movement Sciences at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Groningen. His research focuses on athlete recovery, training load quantification, and sports injury prevention, with a particular emphasis on soccer players and team sports. He leads the SMART Movements research group.
