Ko Woon Ohm is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley, appointed in 2025. He holds a Senate Faculty position and currently teaches Math 51 in Fall 2025. Previous appointments include the University of California, San Diego (2011-2025), University of Texas at Austin (2011-2014), and ETH Zurich (2014).
His research centers on Partial Differential Equations with emphasis on regularity theory for elliptic/parabolic equations, free boundary problems, fully nonlinear equations, homogenization, and Fourier analysis. This work bridges theoretical mathematics with applications in geometric measure theory and physical modeling.
Recent publications demonstrate consistent focus on projection theorems in harmonic analysis (2023-2024) and elliptic equation regularity in non-smooth domains (2012), revealing interdisciplinary connections between geometric structures and analytical methods in PDEs.
