Prof. Dr. Klaus Siebenhaar is affiliated with the Department of Philosophy and Humanities at the Free University of Berlin. He serves as a faculty member and is associated with the Institute for Cultural and Media Management, focusing on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of culture, media, and policy.
His research spans cultural policy, cultural funding, cultural industries, and cultural and media education. He investigates audience development, visitor-oriented cultural institutions, and the role of migrant communities as cultural audiences. Additionally, he explores media management, media marketing, Web 2.0 cultures, and the evolution of newspaper markets and journalism.
