Klaus Schriewer is a Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Murcia, Spain, and Vice Dean for International Relations in the Faculty of Philosophy. A corresponding member of the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS) since 2011, he has coordinated the doctoral program "Social Anthropology" and directed EU-funded Jean Monnet initiatives focused on European integration and security.
Research Interests: European ethnology, migration studies, cultural theory, human-nature relationships, economic anthropology, and biographical/narrative analysis. His work bridges European integration studies with localized ethnographies of work, welfare, and memory.
