Prof. Dr. Klaus Henselmann holds the Chair of Business Administration, especially Accounting and Auditing, at the School of Business, Economics, and Social Sciences, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. His academic journey began at the University of Bayreuth and Aston University, UK, followed by doctorate and habilitation at Bayreuth. He has been a faculty member at Chemnitz University of Technology (1997–2006) and declined offers from institutions like the University of Düsseldorf (2002).

He co-founded the European Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (EACVA) and serves on XBRL Deutschland eV’s advisory board. His work explores Data Mining in Financial Reports, Impression Management in XBRL Tagging, and Regulatory Compliance in Sustainability Reporting.
