معرفی
Klaas Kok is a Researcher at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Personalized Cancer Treatment (PCT) group. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to health and well-being.
- Research Interests: Cancer genomics, molecular mechanisms of oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes, non-coding RNA in cancer progression, and precision medicine for lung cancer and lymphomas.
- Supervision: Co-supervised PhD research on SETD2 and PBRM1 inactivation in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (2016).
- Dataset Contributions: Participated in studies involving cell-free DNA sequencing for esophageal and lung cancers, as well as microRNA screening in Hodgkin lymphoma.
- Collaborations: Active in international networks, with recent work on ALK-positive lung cancer resistance mutations (2025) and post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders (2023).
- Research Trends: Focus on genomic profiling, replication stress in oncogenesis, tumor subtype definition, and liquid biopsy applications.
