Kishani De Silva

Kishani De Silva is Associate Professor of Construction Management at Woodbury University's School of Architecture, where she founded the arts/architecture consultancy 2A+D. With over twenty years in project management, she previously worked with Foster + Partners in London.

De Silva leads interdisciplinary projects including faculty advisor for Woodbury's DOE Solar Decathlon team that constructed Los Angeles' first permitted 3D-printed dwelling. Her research focuses on housing innovation, sustainable construction, and design justice.

Awards include the Architecture 2030 Pilot Curriculum Award for integrating sustainability into pedagogy. As former president of the Association for Women in Architecture + Design, she spearheaded the '50:50 x 2020' gender equity initiative to transform industry representation.
