Prof. Dr. Kirsten Grimm is an Associate Professor at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU), specializing in micropaleontology and stratigraphy. She serves as the curator of JGU's natural science collections and chairs the Rhenish Natural Science Society (RNG). Her research focuses on microfossils and the fossil habitats of the Mainz Basin from 31 to 10 million years ago. She has held roles such as project manager at the Mainz Natural History Museum, where she curated major exhibitions.
