Kirsten Davis

Kirsten Davis serves as an Associate Professor in the Construction Management Department of Boise State University's College of Engineering, a position she has held since January 2007.

Her academic credentials include:

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (specializing in Construction Engineering and Management) from Virginia Tech
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from University of Colorado – Boulder
• Bachelor’s degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering from University of Tennessee – Knoxville

Dr. Davis integrates architectural and civil engineering principles in her work, leveraging industry experience from Sear-Brown Group where she handled public school design, construction administration, and highway engineering projects. Her dual licensure as a Professional Engineer and Registered Architect in New York provides a unique foundation for addressing interdisciplinary construction challenges. Current research focuses on practical applications of construction management methodologies within educational frameworks.

She maintains an active role in the Construction Management program, contributing to curriculum development and professional practice education from her office in RUCH 301C.
