Kirk Harris is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and serves as the Founding Director of the Center for Equity Practice & Planning Justice. His scholarly work centers on racial and economic equity, examining historic, systemic, and policy-based practices that undermine justice. He has played a pivotal role in national social justice initiatives, including APA’s social justice campaign and congressional testimonies on poverty and community development.
