Kirk Bergstrom is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of British Columbia's Okanagan campus, Faculty of Science. His research focuses on the complex relationship between host organisms and their microbial communities, with particular emphasis on the role of glycobiology in intestinal health.
