Kiril Jovanovski

Kiril Jovanovski is a Full Professor and Chair of Finance at the Faculty of Economics, Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia. He specializes in financial markets, institutions, personal finance, and banking, contributing to the development of the Macedonian economy through academic and professional activities.

Education and Career:

• Graduated in 2005 from the Department for Financial Management
• Employed at Stopanska Banka AD Skopje (2005) and Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje (2006)
• Teaching Assistant (2008), Assistant Professor (2013), Associate Professor (2019), and currently Full Professor

Research Focus: Kiril’s work centers on financial systems, capital markets, and banking, integrating empirical methods and policy development to address economic challenges in North Macedonia.

Professional Roles:

• Member of the Board of Directors at Central Securities Depository, Deposit Insurance Fund, and Macedonian Stock Exchange
• Appointed by the Macedonian Parliament to the Securities and Exchange Commission (2018–2023)
