Kinga Korniejenko

Kinga Korniejenko is an Associate Professor at the Department of Materials Engineering, Faculty of Materials Engineering and Physics, Cracow University of Technology. She holds a BEng, PhD, and DSc in Materials Engineering. Her research focuses on geopolymers, composite materials, sustainable construction, and additive manufacturing, emphasizing industrial waste utilization and circular economy principles.

She has published over 118 papers, with a strong emphasis on sustainable materials and their applications in construction and environmental engineering.

Research Interests: Geopolymer synthesis, fiber-reinforced composites, waste recycling, thermal properties of materials, and additive manufacturing techniques for underwater and aerospace applications. Her studies often integrate environmental sustainability, mechanical performance, and industrial by-products.

Publications highlight advancements in geopolymers for road infrastructure, fire-resistant foams, and microbial interactions with construction materials. Collaborations include projects on biochar-reinforced composites and eco-monitoring in marine environments.
