Kinga Ceynowa

Kinga Ceynowa serves as Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Composition, Conducting, Vocal, Music Theory and Artistic Education at Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan. She holds a research-teaching position in the Department of Rhythmics and Piano Improvisation, specializing in musical arts with emphasis on rhythmics and dance.

Her academic credentials include: Professor title (2022) from Paderewski Academy; Habilitation (2018) from Fryderyk Chopin University of Music; Doctor of Musical Arts (2008) from Bacewicz Academy in Lodz; supplemented by Vienna training (1997-2001) and contemporary dance certification (1998-2000).

Professor Ceynowa's research integrates rhythmics with artistic choreography and therapeutic applications. She has created movement interpretations for over 20 classical compositions by Bach, Chopin, Lutosławski and others, performed internationally across Switzerland, France, Germany, Latvia, Russia and Ukraine. Her work bridges musical performance with movement technique, emphasizing geriatric therapy applications through University of the Third Age programs.

Her scholarly publications demonstrate practical applications of rhythmics: memory development through musical-movement exercises for elderly populations and movement interpretation systems for cello performance. These works reflect her commitment to advancing rhythmics in both artistic and therapeutic contexts.

Her distinguished career has earned multiple institutional honors:
