Dr. Kimberly Williams is Associate Professor of Women's and Gender Studies at Mount Royal University, where she develops curricula informed by intersectional feminist theory and anti-oppression frameworks. With a PhD from the University of Maryland's Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, her work centers on transformative pedagogy and equity-focused institutional change.
Her scholarly practice bridges academic research with community engagement, incorporating over two decades of experience facilitating equity workshops across corporate, non-profit, and educational contexts. Current research examines decolonizing approaches to curriculum development, feminist pedagogies in post-secondary environments, and strategies for institutional equity transformation.
Dr. Williams maintains an active consulting practice focused on social justice education and organizational change, grounded in principles of critical feminist theory and anti-racist praxis.
