Kimberly Turner is an Assistant Professor of International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Public & International Affairs. Her research focuses on the causes and outcomes of mass movements, particularly analyzing linkages between skilled labor employment, wage grievances, and contentious politics within authoritarian regimes. She develops new methodologies to measure non-violent resistance efficacy.
