Kimberly Tuescher, Ph.D. is a Professor and School Counseling Program Director at Loras College, specializing in preparing graduate students for licensed school counseling careers. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Psychology and Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1997), an M.S. in Counselor Education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (1983), and a B.S. in Physical Education and Health Education from the same institution (1980).

Dr. Tuescher’s research focuses on at-risk youth, behavioral problems, and the development of effective school counseling programs. With over 25 years of faculty and administrative experience at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, she has trained more than 500 school counselors. Her professional work spans therapy, consulting, and assessments in private practice, as well as K-12 teaching and counseling roles.
