Kimberly Miller, PhD, MPH, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She is a founding co-director of the USC Center for Young Adult Cancer Survivorship Research, an interdisciplinary collaboration with the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of California, Irvine Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her work focuses on improving health outcomes for young adult cancer survivors through clinical practice and policy innovations.
Dr. Miller’s research integrates behavioral science, epidemiology, and implementation science to address healthcare engagement, health behaviors, and disparities in care delivery models for cancer survivors. She is currently the Principal Investigator of two National Cancer Institute R01-funded studies, aiming to enhance quality of life and reduce health inequities for this at-risk population.
As co-director of the Center for Young Adult Cancer Survivorship Research, Dr. Miller leads efforts to develop evidence-based care frameworks through collaborative, cross-institutional research initiatives. Her methodological expertise spans behavioral interventions, longitudinal health data analysis, and clinical policy design.
