Kimberly Fonzo is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Department of English within the College of Liberal and Fine Arts. Her work bridges late medieval authorship, prophetic traditions, and performance studies, with a focus on how medieval authors constructed prophetic identities and how these were later reinterpreted as 'retrospective prophecy.' Her research also explores representations of the devil in texts by medieval holy women and within medieval drama.
