Dr. Kimberly Buchar Nolet is an Adjunct Professor of Woodwinds (Bassoon) at Lancaster Bible College, specializing in bassoon performance and music education. She holds a DMA from the University of Illinois, an MMus from the Eastman School of Music, and a BMus from the Harid Conservatory. Dr. Nolet teaches at multiple institutions including Dickinson College and Franklin and Marshall College, alongside performing with orchestras like the Lancaster Symphony since 2005.

Research & Performance Interests: Dr. Nolet focuses on bassoon performance pedagogy, double reed instrument techniques, and chamber music collaboration. She is a founding member of ensembles such as the Trelumina Trio and Dickinson Double Reed Trio, and performs regularly with orchestras and woodwind quintets.
Advising & Performance: She mentors students in private lessons and ensemble collaborations, emphasizing both technical skill and artistic expression. Her professional affiliations include roles in the Dickinson Faculty Woodwind Quintet and multiple regional orchestras.
Labs/Teams: Active member of Trelumina Trio, Dickinson Double Reed Trio, Fortunata Trio, and Lancaster Symphony Orchestra.
