Kimberley Wilson

Kimberley Wilson is a Senior Lecturer in Human Security at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. She holds an MBA from Simmons College and a BA in Latin American Studies from Wellesley College. Her research focuses on the financial strategies of refugees and migrants, particularly transcontinental journeys, and she leads the Journeys Project. She has conducted fieldwork with UN agencies, World Bank, and NGOs, emphasizing financial inclusion and migration economics. Teaching includes qualitative research methods and economic inclusion frameworks. She received the James L. Paddock Award for Teaching Excellence (2009) and has authored/co-authored works on savings groups, refugee finance, and development economics.
