Laurent Jacque is the Walter B. Wriston Professor of International Finance and Banking at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He served as Academic Dean (2004-2007) and led the launch of the Master of International Business Program. He holds a secondary appointment at HEC School of Management (France) since 1990. His expertise spans foreign exchange risk, international finance, insurance, and global financial services. Jacque has authored three books, including Global Derivative Debacles and over 25 refereed articles. He has received teaching awards from Wharton, Carlson, and HEC, including the James L. Paddock award (1996) and CEMS-HEC award (2008). His research focuses on international financial risk, capital markets, and strategic management in financial institutions.
