Kimberley Lothmann is a Lecturer in Neuroanatomy at Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf and a Postdoctoral researcher affiliated with Düsseldorf University Hospital and the Forschungszentrum Jülich. She teaches neuroanatomy courses for Master's programs in Psychology and Translational Neuroscience, supervises doctoral students, and mentors students. Her research focuses on cytoarchitectonic brain mapping of the human Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex and the mouse olfactory system. She contributes to the EBRAINS 2.0 project's dissemination efforts and advances the Julich Brain Atlas project. Methodologically, she specializes in receptor autoradiography.

Teaching: Neurobiology lectures on olfactory/limbic systems (M.Sc. Translational Neuroscience) and brain dissection supervision (M.Sc. Psychology).
