Her research focuses on Feminist Legal Theory, Critical Theory, and Human Rights frameworks, particularly through the lens of Islamic dress debates and the European Convention on Human Rights. She explores intersections between colonialism, neoliberalism, and legal subjectivity.
Kimberley’s recent publications (2019-2011) span feminist critiques of legal positivism, Islamic dress regulation, human rights discourse analysis, hate speech legislation, and post-Brexit equality frameworks. These works bridge Law, Gender Studies, Political Theory, and Human Rights.
She teaches core law modules including Legal Theory, Public Law II, Human Rights, and Equity and Trusts. Her research monograph in progress examines human rights discourse through Habermasian distorted communication and feminist analysis.
