Kimberlee Crass

Kimberlee Crass is a Teaching Professor and Undergraduate Program Coordinator at the School of Communication, Florida State University. She also serves as the NSSLHA Faculty Advisor. Her expertise spans audiology, aural rehabilitation, and the anatomical foundations of speech and hearing. Dr. Crass holds a Ph.D. and M.S.P. from the University of South Carolina, alongside a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Her research focuses on family-centered interventions, literacy development in children with hearing loss, and listening/spoken language development. Teaching interests include acoustics for speech and hearing, audiology, and anatomy/physiology of speech mechanisms. Her work bridges clinical practice with academic instruction, emphasizing evidence-based approaches in communication sciences.
