معرفی
Kim Tuan Do is an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), mentored by Romyar Sharifi and Francesc Castella. He holds a PhD from Princeton University (2022), where his advisor was Christopher Skinner, following studies at Imperial College London (undergrad) and the University of Cambridge (Part III). His research focuses on Number Theory and Arithmetic Geometry, particularly p-adic aspects such as Euler systems, Iwasawa theory, Galois representations, and L-functions. He also collaborates on Physics-Mathematics questions with Trung Phan. Previously, he organized the UCLA Number Theory Seminar.
Research interests include the p-adic world, anticyclotomic Euler systems, Iwasawa theory applications to modular forms, and diagonal cycles. His work bridges theoretical explorations with interdisciplinary collaborations. Submitted works include studies on biquadratic fields and anticyclotomic Iwasawa theory. Though no awards are listed, his publications reflect deep engagement with advanced number theory.
He advised no listed students but collaborates actively. His professional activities include seminar organization. Personal notes mention his wife's brother attending Zoom lectures, and webpage design inspiration from Kevin Buzzard and Leo.
