Kim Stansbury

Kim Stansbury serves as Adjunct Faculty at Winthrop University's College of Arts and Sciences. She earned her PhD in Gerontology from the University of Kentucky and an MSW from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

Her research examines mental health literacy, gambling addiction, and domestic violence interventions within African American faith communities and older LGBTQ+ populations. Current investigations focus on the Black church's role in domestic violence prevention.
