Kim Soung-U Sebastian is a Researcher at the Department of Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean, University of Naples L'Orientale. His work focuses on Koreanic languages, particularly Jejuan, with expertise in language documentation, typology, politeness metapragmatics, and linguistic ideologies. He has conducted extensive fieldwork and contributed to endangered language preservation through multimodal corpora.
