Kim Solin is an Honorary Research Fellow in Philosophy at the School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry, University of Queensland. They also hold the title of Adjunct Professor (Docent) in Philosophy at the University of Helsinki, Finland, and serve as a Senior Faculty Administrator at Uppsala University, Sweden.
Research Interests: Solin’s work spans existential philosophy, Ludwig Wittgenstein, and Rush Rhees. Concurrently, they contribute to theoretical computer science, focusing on refinement algebra, dynamic epistemic logic, probabilistic programming, and formal verification methods.
Publications: Their research bridges philosophical inquiry and computational theory, with recent works analyzing Wittgenstein’s mathematical foundations, refining algebraic frameworks for program verification, and developing logical models for real-time and probabilistic systems.
Education: Kim Solin holds a Doctor of Philosophy from both Abo Akademi University and Uppsala University.
