Dr. Kim Le is an Honorary Research Fellow at the School of Design, University of Western Australia, within the Discipline of Art History. She holds an ORCID identifier (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4438-999X) and can be contacted at kim.le@uwa.edu.au. Her research focuses on human-centred design, social innovation, and the intersection of art, architecture, and cultural identity. She has led projects exploring symbolic arts, cultural crises, and the role of leadership in cultural preservation.
Kim's work bridges Eastern and Western art disciplines to address global cultural dynamics. She was recognized in the 2018 Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) submission. Key contributions include co-creating workshops on creative problem-solving and leading the 2021 International Conference on The Arts in Society, attended by 200 global scholars. Since 2023, she serves on the Advisory Board of the Common Ground Research Networks' Arts in Society division.
Her research emphasizes how cultural aesthetics evolve through social and political ideals, particularly in contexts of intercultural tension. Collaborations with multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders drive her applied work in fostering social resilience and environmental sustainability.
