Cindy Zhao

Cindy Zhao is a Research Fellow in the Physics Department at The University of Western Australia's School of Physics, Maths and Computing. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through renewable energy research.

Her research spans semiconductor physics and advanced materials science with focus areas:

• Photovoltaic systems including perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells
• Dielectric characterization of crystalline perovskites
• Amorphous carbon films for memristor applications
• Low-temperature quantum transport phenomena
• Indium-tin-oxide engineering for optoelectronic devices

Recent publications demonstrate expertise in precision dielectric measurements, quantum interference effects in solar cells, and hopping conduction mechanisms in carbon films. Her fingerprint analysis reveals strong contributions to amorphous carbon (100%), tin oxide (56%), and indium-tin-oxide engineering (50%) research domains.
