Kim Halskov is a Professor at the Department of Digital Design and Information Studies within the School of Communication and Culture at Aarhus University. His research focuses on media architecture, design studies, and sonic placemaking. He leads and contributes to interdisciplinary projects like CAVI (Centre for Advanced Visualisation and Interaction) and BICLabs (Behaviour, Interaction and Cognition Labs).
Research Interests: Kim’s work spans interaction design, collaborative design methodologies, and the integration of sound and architecture. He explores how digital and analog tools shape creative processes and investigates the role of sound in urban environments and cultural heritage sites.
Projects & Labs: Key projects include Media Architecture Biennale (MAB), Creativity in Blended Interaction Spaces (CIBIS), and Digital Urban Living (DUL). He co-founded CAVI, a hub for advanced visualization and interaction research.
