Kim C. Huett

Dr. Kim C. Huett is an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology in the Department of Educational Technology and Foundations at the University of West Georgia. She directs research on K-12 online/blended learning, computational thinking integration, and technology diffusion in educational settings.

Her work includes developing the Identity Leadership Inventory-Youth (ILI-Y) instrument, evaluating professional development models for online teachers, and studying motivational frameworks in distance education. Huett leads initiatives like uCode@UWG to foster STEM-C interests in youth. She teaches graduate courses on diffusion of innovations, technology leadership, and assessment in technology-enhanced instruction.

As past president of AECT's Technology Integrated Learning Division, she advances research on social identity in virtual learning environments and broadening participation in computing education.
