Kim Archambault

Kim Archambault is a Professor in the School of Educational Psychology at the University of Montreal's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on the psychosocial adaptation of youth with mental health challenges, emphasizing art-based interventions and positive approaches. She leads projects funded by agencies like the Fonds de recherche du Québec and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). Key projects include evaluating programs like Art en tête and Espace Transition, which use artistic modalities to support youth mental health. She has supervised numerous graduate students and holds affiliations with the Centre de recherche Azrieli du CHU Sainte-Justine and the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM). Notably awarded the Médaille d'excellence en recherche for her contributions to mental health research.
