Kieran Sullivan is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Santa Clara University's College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from UCLA. His research focuses on intimate relationships, health outcomes, and the role of technology in communication dynamics. Sullivan directs the Intimate Relationships Lab, exploring support processes within relationships and their impact on health and well-being.
His academic work spans over two decades, with publications in journals like Journal of Social and Personal Relationships and Family Relations. Key themes include digital-age relational challenges, stress in infertile couples, and premarital intervention efficacy.
